Skeeter Smith
Skeeter Smith grew up in Floydada, TX, where he and his family farmed and raised cattle. After graduating from high school, he attended South Plains College while also running his own farm and ranch operations. After college, Skeeter moved to Matador, where he fully immersed himself in the ranching lifestyle. In 2001, Skeeter married the love of my life, Tamarah Burson Smith, from Lockney, TX. They were blessed with three amazing kids: Clare, Tilson, and Bay! In 2012, Skeeter and his family moved from Lockney to Idalou, where he expanded his construction and welding business.
Skeeter has been fortunate to work with and for some of the finest people in West Texas, developing exceptional relationships along the way. Farming, ranching, and every aspect of the great outdoors has always been one of Skeeter’s greatest passions.
