Trawick Ranch Auction

Unbelievable Auction Opportunity | Trawick Ranch in Stroud, Oklahoma

For nearly a century, the Trawick Ranch has stood as the blueprint for a premier cattle ranch in Oklahoma. Owned and operated by the same family for 97 years, the Trawicks are looking to sell the property at auction this March. Spanning across 1,900+ acres, the ranch features grazing pastures, water sources and hunting grounds.

The auction is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 10 a.m. and is hosted by the broker and owner of United Country Real Estate | Bendele Co LLC, Brian Bendele. The auction of this property will be structured as a no-reserve real estate auction and the ranch can be sold in full or in separate parts. Bendele will hold the Trawick auction with his father, Mike Bendele, as well as John Ball and Justin Ball of Ball Auction Services.

The land is being sold in 16 separate parcels, ranging from 40 to 160-acre tracts and divided by country roads. This will give buyers more opportunities to purchase the entire Trawick Ranch, individual tracts or groups of tracts. Mineral rights are also included on certain sales although there are no active operations at this time, so contact the broker to secure additional income production.

Brian Bendele grew up in the rural real estate world as a second-generation broker in Oklahoma. As a broker of a leading office paired with his degrees in Agricultural Communications and Animal Science, it was clear that Bendele was the man for such a massive and complex auction. He is backed by United Country Real Estate and UC Ranch Properties with industry-leading auctioneers and the most innovative auction tools supporting his real estate clients.

The Trawick Ranch

Known by cattle industry professionals and local landowners for its impressive Hereford cattle operation, the Trawick Ranch stretches across 1,900+ acres of productive native and improved grasslands, spring-fed creeks, ponds and wooded terrain. Natural beauty runs free through the rolling hills and trees on the ranch, giving all those with the privilege of visiting a sense of freedom and serenity. Wildlife-filled forests and ponds stocked with fish encourage adventures on the land while premier cattle ranching facilities support agricultural efforts.

Wirt Trawick, the current owner and seller of the ranch, was just a toddler when his father established the ranch in 1928. After spending 94 years on the ranch, he finally felt the time was right to sell the historic property. “He even helped his father create a lot of the ranch’s features you see today,” Bendele said. Trawick has countless happy memories of his life on the ranch, including stories of his horses and maintaining the land haying, fencing or even hunting.

Each and every tract features agricultural and recreational opportunities with potential for income production. All the tracts are a mix of woodlands, rolling pastures, seasonal creeks and ponds with many reported sightings of turkey and deer. Some tracts offer additional features such as cattle pens, corrals and barns, as well as fencing and road frontage, supporting ranch and farm operations. Tract 10 provides several critical cattle ranch outbuildings and a four-bedroom, two-bath home.

Trawick Ranch provides ample privacy and security with its secluded Stroud, Okla. location, but the ranch is also within an hour of both Oklahoma City and Tulsa, ensuring big city amenities and necessities are accessible.

The Trawick Ranch has a long, documented history worth the curiosity and attention of any outdoorsman. Learn more about the ranch and auction details, so you are prepared for the upcoming event on Saturday, March 15.
