The ranch was listed and sold by Richard Dawson and Donald Hlava of United Country | AgTeam Land Brokers in Lexington, Neb. The unique part of this historic sale is the strong relationship between the real estate agents and the sellers of the property. Donald is the son of the owners and Richard is a long-time friend.
“My long-term relationship with Fred (the seller) is what got me the listing,” said Richard. “He wanted to retire and always said I would be the one to sell his ranch. The best part is that his son, Donald, moved back to the area a little over a year ago. I helped Donald get his real estate license and now he works for our firm as an agent. So, we split the deal.”
