Suzy was born in Colorado, but lived a lot of her adult life in Texas where she and her family lived on a ranch. She attended college in Texas then went on to own several businesses there. Yearning to get back to the Rocky Mountains, she moved to Colorado in 2001, then to Montana in 2014.
