Brooke Snyder – UC Ranch Specialist
Brooke grew up in the Montrose and Rifle, Colorado areas as a fifth-generation cattle rancher, farmer, and land conservationist. Along with coming from a cattle and farming background, Brooke is also a third-generation outfitter and wildlife enthusiast, having guided many hunters on successful hunts for trophy elk and mule deer.

“I believe in the future of agriculture,” is a quote by EM Tiffany from the FFA Creed itself. Brooke was born and raised with this mentality.
Throughout high school Brooke was very involved in FFA (Future Farmers of America) and 4H, Brooke accepted multiple opportunities to travel to local, state, and national FFA events to share her love for the agricultural industry. Now an alumnus, Brooke remains a strong supporter of FFA activities.
A passion for the agricultural industry and beef cattle—Brooke Snyder
Brooke decided to further her education in the ag industry by going to the University of Wyoming and studying Animal Science. During her time at the University of Wyoming, Brooke was involved in the Wyoming Collegiate Cattlemen’s Association. In these organizations she was able to learn many different life skills that she still uses to this day. Brooke has worked on many different cattle operations, including several feedlots in Texas and in Delta, Colorado. Her family raises commercial mother cows and consequently also raise hay every year to sustain their herd. She has her own small herd of mother cows, which she has increased by getting AI (artificially inseminate) certified to breed cattle. Brooke’s whole life she has been creating different businesses for herself, such as a small clothing line advertising the outfitting business to raising cattle and creating business relations with people around the world.

The Snyder’s family outfitting business is based out of the Rifle to New Castle area, where Brooke has spent many fall days assisting her parents during hunting season. Not only does Brooke have knowledge about livestock, but she also has knowledge on habitat improvement and management of wildlife within the state of Colorado.
